Congratulations to Dr. Rowena Barty, SGUSVM class of 2006 who recently began studying for her PhD at the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine, with professor A. J. Trees. Dr. Barty was awarded a BBSRC (Biochemical and Biological Sciences Research Counsel) studentship for her PhD studies in Onchocerca. Dr. Barty began her Ph.D studies on October 1, 2006.
