Announcements:

VSHS Members Only Workshop: Friday, February 15, 2008 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Kudos.

VSHS Open Movie Night: Friday, February 15, 2008 beginning at 8:00 p.m. at Kudos.

Hills Pet Food Distribution: Sunday, February 17, 2008 from 3:00 – 5:00 p.m. at Grand Anse Campus.

VSHS Meeting: Monday, February 18 at 5:00 p.m. in the Marine Science Building. Top priority is election of animal reps.

Updated list of officers of veterinary organizations at SGUSVM: Revised list of names and contact information for the clubs and organizations at our school.

Reminder:

Call for papers for AAEP 2008 Convention: Members of the AAEP and other individuals are invited to submit papers for consideration for presentation during the 54th AAEP Annual Convention in San Diego, CA. Deadline for submission: March 14, 2008.

All items for publication should be submitted to

by 12:00 noon on Tuesday of the desired publication week.

Dear Readers,

I hope that you have all settled in and are having an enjoyable term.

I will like to use this opportunity to congratulate all of our first term students who successfully completed the Professional Attributes Work-Shop (PAWS), which took place from January 20 – 22. This marked the official beginning of the PAWS. Many thanks to the students and faculty for their participation and to each of the organizers and facilitators, whose time and efforts contributed to a successful event.

I also wish to commend the faculty, staff and students who participated in and contributed to our White Coat Ceremony, for a job well done.

In closing, I will like to wish each and every one of you a very productive term.
