Dear Readers,

I will like to take this opportunity to congratulate all of the faculty and staff that were involved in the planning and organizing of the SVM Clinical Meetings, which took place from February 11 – 15, 2008 for a job well done.  Your efforts contributed to a well organized event that went remarkably well.  Thanks to the faculty and students that participated in the various sessions for your valuable input.

I also wish to commend all of the faculty, staff and students that participated in the “One Health, One Medicine”  Vaccination Clinic and Health Fair, which took place on Saturday, March 1, 2008  at the River Salle Government School in St. Patrick’s, which was organized by SVM’s SAAVMA and SOM’s AMSA.  Each of your efforts contributed to a successful event.  I am very proud that our SVM students and SOM students were able to work together for this valuable cause.

As we approach the middle of the term, I extend warm wishes to each of you.

Regards,

Dr. Raymond Sis
