SVM Awards Ceremony A Success

Another successful SVM Awards Ceremony saw fruition on the night of Friday April 25, 2008. The Bell Lecture Hall was filled with elegantly dressed students, faculty and staff, eagerly awaiting the announcement of the awardees.

The ceremony was opened by Dr. Tara Paterson, Chair of the Awards Committee, who welcomed everyone and introduced the Master of Ceremonies, Dr. Dax Miller. We were honored to have present, Provost, Dr. Allen Pensick, who offered warm words of welcome and encouragement to our students, staff and faculty.

Dr. Raymond Sis opened the Award presentations and reminded all of their significance.  The awards included monetary prizes, dinners and other gifts. We congratulate the awardees, who through their hard work and outstanding achievements have earned the honour of recognition.
