SUBJECT: Increased Union dues & $5 deduction for 50th Anniversary

As you are aware, effective 31st May 2007, Union dues have been increased to a "minimum of EC$15 per month or 1.5% of your basic salary". Also, a 50th Anniversary Levy in the sum of $5 per month for 12 months will be deducted from your salary.

These amounts were to be deducted from your salary effective May 2007, however, deductions took effect from October 2007. In an effort to accommodate everyone and make it easier on your pockets, the Accounts Department has taken up the tasks of staggering the retroactive deductions over the next four months.

We hope that this notice will help to clarify this matter.
