Ms Carol Adams-Vazquez, Head of Department of Human Resources Message from the Business Administrator St. George’s University extends warmest greetings to all its employees, in particular, those who have recently joined us. The University is an institution which started On January 17, 1977, with the aim of providing excellent education to the men and women who walk through this campus. We are proud of the strides made over the years, and thank the staff, especially for the level of support provided, which has made SGU into the dynamic institution it is today. We have approximately 600 employees (staff), who are in a privileged position to work within such a rich and diverse community. The University is thankful to all its employees who have, collectively, made its success possible. It is our hope that you find this staff handbook to be helpful and informative. We invite you to take the time to peruse its contents as you would find policies and procedures relating to life and work at St. George’s University. Message from the Head of Human Resources The Staff Handbook is aimed at providing all employees of St. George's University with detailed information on conditions of service and at creating a better understanding of policies and procedures within the University community. St. George's University offers opportunities for advancement so we encourage you to perform your duties to the best of your ability and take advantage of these opportunities.
