Student Center

The 17,000 square-foot Student Center houses a cafeteria and food court, offices for student organizations, a fitness center and a branch of the local bank. An open-air veranda extends from the cafeteria and overlooks the SGU campus and a variety of athletic fields used by the students.

Fitness Center

The gym is a popular destination for students of SGU. It is conveniently located in the Student Center near the food court and bank. The area is stocked with free weights and a selection of Hammer Strength, cabled selector machines and everything a well-balanced strength program requires. In addition to the strength equipment there is an Aerobics Center with a growing selection of cardio equipment such as ellipticals, rowers, life cycles and a recumbent cycle. There are numerous fitness classes organized in the aerobics center including step aerobics, kickboxing, dance, martial arts and yoga. If you wish to take part or organize a new event, the AFC staff are more than willing to try to accommodate you and your interests.
